PLANO, Texas, Dec. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- ViewPoint Bank has appointed long-time Dallas mortgage banker Ed Bratton as president and chief executive officer of its mortgage subsidiary, ViewPoint Bankers Mortgage. Bratton brings with him more than 25 years of North Texas mortgage banking expertise.

Bratton joins ViewPoint Bankers Mortgage after more than 20 years at Chase Mortgage, where he served as regional vice president for Texas and other western states. A graduate of Baylor University, Bratton has also served as past president of the Dallas Mortgage Bankers Association and past board chair for the Dallas Summer Musicals. He is also a graduate of Leadership Dallas.
