(TSX VENTURE:TGX) ("True North") is pleased to announce the appointment of William Anderson, P.Geo., to the Board of Directors. Mr. Anderson is a geologist and industry consultant with over 30 years of experience in mining and exploration. He is currently the CEO and President of First Nickel Inc., a company he co-founded, a TSX listed junior mining company currently focusing on commercial production from the Lockerby Mine near Sudbury, Ontario. Mr. Anderson was Exploration Manager for SELCO Mining and BP Canada from 1980 to 1992, and has been President of MPH Consulting Limited, a private mining and exploration consulting firm since 1995.
Mr. Anderson has extensive experience in Greenland, and consults to the Greenland Bureau of Minerals and Petroleum. He will serve True North Gems as an independent director and will also sit on the company's audit committee.
