The necklace will be auctioned off for charity at the Foundation's Crystal Ball fundraiser, held December 1, 2005, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Vancouver. The necklace is the first ever made with Canadian emeralds from the company's Tsa da Glisza Project in the Yukon. The B.C. Children's Foundation is associated with the B.C. Children's Hospital, which provides specialized health care services to children in both British Columbia and Yukon.
