JERSEY CITY, NJ -- (Marketwire) -- 12/11/09 -- The management of The Thai Capital Fund, Inc. (NYSE Amex: TF) today announced that the Fund will pay its year-end distribution in the amount of $0.174 per share. This dividend will be paid in cash from ordinary income.
Shareholders who participate in the Fund's Dividend Reinvestment Plan will receive an equivalent dividend amount in shares of the Fund.
The dividend will be payable on December 30, 2009 to the shareholders of record at the close of business on December 22, 2009. The ex-dividend date will be December 18, 2009.
The Fund is a closed-end management investment company which seeks long-term capital appreciation through investment primarily in Thai equity securities.
