Hewitt Associates Grows Operations in Krakow With Expansion to Diamante Plaza

KRAKOW, Poland, Aug. 2, 2010 (PR Newswire Europe) -- v>

KRAKOW, Poland, August 2, 2010 /PRNewswire/ --

- Increases Space to Meet Growing Demand

Hewitt Associates, a global human resources consulting and outsourcing company, has expanded its presence in Krakow, Poland by moving to the new Diamante Plaza building. As an anchor tenant in the new development, Hewitt has affirmed its commitment to operating in Krakow by increasing its office space from 2000 sq m to 4700 sq m - equivalent to growing from 300 to 800 seats.

Hewitt has run operations in Krakow for its human resource outsourcing business since September 2005, and was previously based at ul. Armii Krajowej 16. Its second operational centre, which occupies one whole floor of the Diamante Plaza building at ul. Dekerta 24, allows for significant expansion in order to meet the ongoing success of its operations. Hewitt will continue to work from both offices.

Eoin McCoy, centre director for Hewitt in Krakow said: "Hewitt has enjoyed five successful years in Krakow and our expansion into Diamante Plaza allows us to embark on another phase of growth as we more than double our office space.

"We are in Krakow for good reasons; as an organisation our world class client services need talented and numerate employees with multiple language skills - and Krakow continues to offer that to us in a way that few European cities can match. I am delighted that we have moved to this prestigious development and I look forward to the expansion opportunities that it affords us."

Jose Cordoba, Director General for Aldesa in Krakow said: "We are delighted that Hewitt has chosen to cater for the growth in its operations by moving to Diamante Plaza. Their new offices offer them an up-to-date and flexible facility in an increasingly popular district. This is well connected with the rest of the city by car or public transportation - with a new tram line circulating in front of the building opening next autumn - and will permit a continued access to Krakow's talented workforce. We are sure that this will provide them with the space they need to handle their continued expansion."
