Grayling's ClearCalm(TM) Receives North American Safety Approval from CSA International
ClearCalm(TM) Headed for Beta Testing
CALGARY, Oct. 18 /CNW/ - Grayling Wireless USA Inc. (Pink Sheets: GRYW)
announced today that it has received CSA International certification for
ClearCalm(TM), a revolutionary wireless communication system. With CSA
International's Certificate of Compliance (CSA C22.2 No. 157 and UL 913 Sixth
Edition), ClearCalm(TM) is now approved for use in Canada and the United
States.
"ClearCalm(TM) is now a major step closer to commercial reality. Very
shortly, we will be commencing our final product verification and beta testing
programs - the last steps before full commercial production. We are pleased
that numerous public and industrial safety groups have indicated their
eagerness to participate in our final testing program," said Jeff Love,
Grayling's Chief Executive Officer.
ClearCalm(TM) has been specifically designed to improve the quality of
communications for firefighters, hazardous materials teams, industrial
personnel and others who are required to perform duties while wearing Self
Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA).
Grant Moar, Grayling's President said success in achieving this approval
paves the way for the launch of ClearCalm in both the U.S. and Canada. "We
look forward to providing this innovative communication solution to the public
safety market," he said.
ClearCalm(TM)'s unique design has solved many of the problems encountered
with typical SCBA communication systems on the market today. Issues such as
difficult communications in high ambient noise environments, poor voice
quality, extra weight and bulk, interface wires located on the mask, and poor
user interface have all been eliminated with this revolutionary system.
"I am extremely proud of our team for having achieved the most
significant milestone in the history of our company," added Mr. Love.
"Grayling has a bright future. While ClearCalm(TM) was the genesis of the
company and it is near and dear to our hearts, we will continue to reach
further to truly earn the right to call ourselves innovators and integrators
in our chosen markets."
