Columbia Banking System to Present at JMP Securities Research Conference on May 10, 2010

TACOMA, Wash., May 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Columbia Banking System, Inc. (Nasdaq: COLB) announced today that Melanie J. Dressel, President and Chief Executive Officer, is scheduled to present at the Ninth Annual JMP Securities Research Conference in San Francisco, California.  The Columbia Banking System presentation is scheduled for Monday, May 10, 2010 at 12:30 p.m. PDT (3:30 p.m. EDT).
