CHS Foundation Offers Mini-Grants to College Ag Clubs
ST. PAUL, Minn., April 29 /PRNewswire/ -- The CHS Foundation announced today it has launched the CHS Foundation College Club Mini-Grants program, geared to strengthen learning experiences and professional development opportunities for agriculture-related college clubs.
'As the agricultural industry continues to grow, it's vitally important that we continue to build the next generation of leaders in production, science and business agriculture,' says William Nelson, president, CHS Foundation. 'These grants will help creative young leaders plant seeds for a strong future in agriculture.'
The CHS Foundation will provide up to $1,000 to innovative leadership and professional development programs with an agriculture focus. Examples include leadership training opportunities, mentorship programs, professional development experiences and student fundraising efforts. Grants will be awarded on an on-going basis.
