New classes invite culinary enthusiasts to learn from seasoned professionals

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill., May 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Le Cordon Bleu Schools in North America (LCB) is proud to introduce the Chef's Series, a dynamic collection of hands-on cooking classes led by experienced LCB chef instructors.  The classes offer foodies the opportunity to have fun while enhancing their culinary talent in the industry-current kitchens of one of 17 LCB campus locations.

"The Le Cordon Bleu Chef's Series is open to food lovers of all skill levels," said Kirk T. Bachmann, vice president of academics at LCB.  "These classes give people the rare opportunity to step inside our kitchens and enjoy an afternoon of food and fun."

Each class is open to all ages and features step-by-step demonstrations followed by a hands-on experience where participants will put what they have learned into action and create their own "Le Cordon Bleu" creation.  Guests 16 years old or younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Classes are offered monthly from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  A full list of classes and dates appear below. Each participant receives an LCB apron, certificate of completion, a LCB campus restaurant gift certificate (at participating restaurants) and the opportunity for a campus tour.  The cost of each class is $90.
