Jan. 5, 2010 (Business Wire) -- McLane, a leading supply chain services company, today announced a contract renewal with G&M Oil Company for supply chain services to 167 convenience stores throughout Southern California. The agreement is further evidence of the companies’ successful relationship that began in 2000.

McLane’s Southern California facility will continue to manage distribution of a broad line of products for G&M that include tobacco, center of store, GMP, fast foods, deli, and a host of frozen products. McLane’s Southern California distribution center is known for reliable and efficient operations with nearly perfect delivery and order fulfillment rates.

“While working with McLane over the last nine years, we’ve experienced increased efficiencies and a 7% per year growth rate,” said George J. Pearson, G&M Oil Company director of stores. “McLane’s all-inclusive solutions have helped us easily rollout and sell a broad line of products, while supporting operations at competitive rates with less complexity than other options in the market.”
