The Shuman Law Firm Announces Investigation into infoGROUP Inc. Acquisition

Mar. 10, 2010 (Business Wire) -- The Shuman Law Firm today announced that it is investigating potential breaches of fiduciary duty and other violations of state law on behalf of shareholders of infoGROUP Inc. (“infoGROUP” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: IUSA) in connection with an agreement whereby infoGROUP will be acquired by affiliates of CCMP Capital Advisors, LLC (“CCMP”).

Under the terms of the proposed transaction, infoGROUP shareholders will receive $8.00 in cash for each share of common stock they hold. The transaction has a total value of approximately $635 million. The price CCMP will pay for each share of infoGROUP represents a 16-cent discount in value compared to the closing price of the stock the day before the merger was announced.

The investigation concerns whether the merger, including the proposed price, is fair and in the best interests of infoGROUP shareholders.
