Competition Expert Danielle Wood Joins NERA as Senior Consultant

Mar. 15, 2010 (Business Wire) -- NERA Economic Consulting, a leading global provider of economic advice and analysis in business, legal, and regulatory matters, announced today that Danielle Wood has joined as a Senior Consultant in the firm’s Melbourne office.

Ms. Wood was formerly a Director in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), where she was responsible for analysing the competitive effects of mergers and acquisitions. She managed merger reviews in a range of sectors including banking and finance, wealth management, energy, petrol, media, manufacturing, and retail.

Prior to the ACCC, Ms. Wood was a Senior Economist in the Public Inquiry Branch of the Productivity Commission. She received a Master of Commerce specialising in economics from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor in Economics from the University of Adelaide.
